This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We are a business-to-business supplier: the data we handle is contact information for people acting on behalf of a company.
Who we are
Prime Cuts SIA is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us about any privacy matter at sales@primecuts.lv.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. When you submit the quote request form, that is: your name, company, email address, and optionally your phone number, type of business, destination port, the cuts you selected, your estimated volume and frequency, and anything you write in the notes field.
We do not collect special category data, we do not buy contact lists, and we do not ask for payment details through this website.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to quote and supply you. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated, and, once we are trading, performance of a contract.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to trade are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to actual transactions are kept for as long as the law requires, and then deleted.
Who sees it
Your enquiry is seen by our own trading and quality staff. We use third-party providers for email and website hosting, who process data on our instructions. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Two things are stored in your own browser and never sent to us: your language choice, and the enquiry list you build while browsing. You can clear both at any time through your browser settings.
If you accept analytics, we use a privacy-focused analytics service that measures page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. You can decline, and change your mind later, using the cookie banner.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to our use of it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email sales@primecuts.lv and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
